About the Role

As our Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial and commercial insights that support both strategic and operational decision-making across the Hydraulink business.  You will play a key role in analysing financial performance, evaluating pricing and margin opportunities, developing Power BI reporting, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial close.

What you will be doing

• Analyse performance across products, customers, and channels, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate monthly and annual reports, including insightful variance analysis.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards to improve visibility of business performance
• Lead the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting.
• Build robust financial models and scenario analysis.
• Contribute to pricing reviews, commercial initiatives, strategic projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

What you will bring

• 5+ years’ experience in financial or commercial analysis, ideally within an industrial, multi-channel, or franchise environment
• Strong experience with Power BI — from data modelling to dashboard design.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Experience with ERP systems (Pronto preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
• Professional certification (CIMA, CA ANZ) is a bonus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
