Your Role:
As the Branch Sales Manager (Nelson), you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and growth of the Nelson branch. You will lead a team of four, including Hydraulink Sales and Service Technicians and Branch Service Technicians. You will need to ensure that regional operations, customer service, and sales growth align with Hydraulink standards. Additionally, you will develop and cultivate existing relationships with key distributors within the region.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing branch operations, stock levels, and workflows
- Leading and developing your team through coaching, training, and performance support
- Building strong relationships with local customers, OEMs, and stakeholders
- Monitoring budgets, KPIs, and branch financial performance
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements and supporting sustainability initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for business growth within the region
- Generation of leads and prospective customers, from the beginning to fruition
About You:
You will bring proven leadership experience within a sales, service, trade, or industrial environment. You’re confident managing people, operational performance, and customer relationships. You thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy supporting your team to deliver great service every day.
